Giving Tuesday is a National Day of Giving, a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the work that the Community Cat Coalition does to improve the lives of community cats and the people who care for them.
Our organization receives emails daily requesting help with community cats. Most often people care for the cats but can’t afford to get them altered and vaccinated nor can they afford to feed a rapidly growing colony.
Sam was a good example – she was looking for a resource to help her get her colony of cats altered. Money was tight and she’d been quoted up to $1,000 to spay just one female. And she had a colony of seven cats plus two litters of kittens.
Thanks to the support of generous donors like you we were able to work with her to get her colony altered and vaccinated. She was extemely appreciative of the help, and she now has a colony that she can manage, no more kittens, and they are working hard to ensure that the cats are well fed and cared for.
Sadly we get emails like this every day. And it is only because of people like you who support our small all volunteer organization that we are often able to help, greatly improving the lives of the community cat caregivers and the cats that they care for.
This year alone we have been able to provide spay/neuter services for over 1,750 cats and kittens.
We greatly appreciate your ongoing support of the Community Cat Coalition. Your donation in honor of Giving Tuesday will help us continue to serve our community and help more people like Sam. Thank you so much for your consideration!
